It's the 70th consecutive win for the Huskies, matching their own NCAA Division I record for longest winning streak in women's college basketball set from 2001-03.

Charles, the Big East player of the year, made 16-of-19 shots from the field. She also recorded five blocks.

Maya Moore finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and five steals for the Huskies (31-0), who will face Notre Dame in the semifinals.

Kayla Alexander had 11 points and seven boards for Syracuse (22-10).

Connecticut went on a 17-2 run over the game's first six minutes, and led 44-17 at the break. The Huskies shot 58.3 percent in the first half, while limiting Syracuse to a woeful 18.2 percent.
